North Devon's a paradise for walkers
Right on the South West Coast Path and near to the stunning Exmoor National Park, Saunton is a very special base for walking holidays in Devon. Walk the three mile beach – and keep going round the estuary and up the river Taw, or head out over the Braunton Burrows, a Site of Special Scientific Interest with rare plants and wildlife. A short drive away is dramatic Exmoor, with bracing scenic walks where you’ll see wild ponies and red deer – we even organise a special walking holiday in the autumn where we take guests to watch the red deer rut, which is spectacular.
Our General Manager, Anthony Kingdon, happens to be a huge walking enthusiast and organises walking holidays with guided walks through the finest parts of north Devon for our guests. Please call us for more details or contact Mr Anthony Kingdon by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
