Explore Devon in the Autumn
Summer doesn’t stop at Saunton in September. The evenings are still warm, and the sunsets are just as beautiful, the only difference is that with children back to school the beaches are quiet - making Saunton the perfect destination for a midweek break. With 25% off apartments this September you can relax, treat yourself to a glass of bubbly and soak up the last of the summer rays.
Not only are we lucky enough to be situated amid fantastic coastal walks and beaches but nearby gardens and woodlands will provide you with the real autumnal experience. We’ve teamed up with RHS Rosemoor Garden so that our guests can visit the garden and see the colourful range of late-blooming flowers on display without paying an entry free.
Time to spare? Head down to Woolacombe and walk the cliff route from Morte Point to Bull Point. This stretch of coastline was once notorious for smugglers and wreckers and has some of the most spectacular views in North Devon - you might even be lucky enough to see one of the resident seals.
Surfing enthusiasts can also relish Saunton in September as the waves are better and the water warmer. Don’t fancy taking the plunge? Watch them cut through the waves from the comfort of our alfresco terrace.
