Exercise Classes

Source Spa & Wellness fitness and wellbeing classes have been curated especially for health of mind, body and spirit. Classes are taken outside on the lawn or in the Activity Dome* overlooking the beach, and then inside in our studio when the weather roars!

Our timetable of classes is available to all hotel residents and spa members.*

FITNESS TIMETABLE 2021

SUNDAY

10am-11am: Yin Yoga (Natasha King)
A deeply nurturing practice using mostly floor-based asana, held for longer periods of time, using stillness and time to cultivate calm in body and mind, closing with a Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation. Bring props if you have them, though not essential.


MONDAY

8.30am - 9.30am: Pilates (Natasha Burgess)
Be kind to your body with this low impact, physical conditioning and wellbeing class for all levels. The perfect start to any day!
10:00am - 11:00am: Workout of the Day (WOD) (Bethany Jackson)
Truly cross-train with a workout that focuses on cardiorespiratory fitness, stamina, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination and accuracy.
6.30pm - 7.30pm: Meditation (Natasha King)
Step away from the constant flow of distractions, demands and needs that occupy the mind. Meditation can help you calm the nervous system, reduce stress and anxiety, increase self-awareness and feel present.

 

TUESDAY

8.30am - 9.30am: Sun Practice - Hatha Yoga (Natasha King)
Yoga practice to cultivate energy, create positivity, move you if you feel a little lazy or stagnant, using asana, breathwork and culminating in meditation
9:15am - 10:15am: Tennis Coaching (Rob Cook) 
Class for those who would consider themselves as a “rusty racquet” to intermediate level.  A stunning court with wonderful views in which you will improve your technique and tactical awareness. Sessions with Rob who has over 13 years of coaching experience
12:00pm - 1:00pm: Full Body Workout (Kate Burrows)
Catering for all fitness levels this is a total body workout - abs, glutes, strength and cardio, giving you a guaranteed endorphin high!
6.30pm - 7.30pm: Evening Unwind Vinyasa Yoga (Jessica Wright)
Let the day go with a mindful flow yoga class, focusing on linking movement with breath in a flowing sequence, connecting to your body and breath to release tension.


WEDNESDAY

8.00am - 9.00am

4.00pm - 5.00pm
Power Hour Bootcamp
 (Bethany Jackson)
Intense full-body training using plyometrics, cardio, and strength training exercises. All fitness levels welcome; there are plenty of modifications throughout the workout to make it work for individual goals.

THURSDAY

7.00am - 8.00am
Energizing Wake Up Yoga

Energize, invigorate and prepare your body for the day ahead with this dynamic and fun vinyasa yoga class. 
9.00am - 10.00am
Power Hour Bootcamp
(Bethany Jackson)

5.00pm - 6.00pm
Reset + Unwind Yoga

Take some time out to reset and connect to your body and breath with this gentle flow yoga class suitable for all levels. 

 

FRIDAY

9.30am - 10.30am
Feel Good Friday Flow Yoga

An uplifting and energizing vinyasa yoga class designed to connect you to your body and breath, whilst harnessing your inner energy, strength and wellbeing.
11.00am - 12.00pm
Functional living 55+
(Bethany Jackson) 
A class dedicated to those aged 55 or over with a special emphasis on whole-body movement and strength exercises that imitate or replicate “real life” movements including posture correction, balance and stability

 

SATURDAY

10:30am - 11:30am
Saturday Sweat
(Bethany Jackson) 
Kick start your weekend with a sweat session. Get your heart rate up, burn calories and work the entire body with this high-intensity workout.
5.00pm - 6.00pm
Moon Practice Yoga
(Natasha King)
Leave your worries and stresses behind using movement, breathwork and meditation to reconnect with the body, calm the mind and feel more serene and stable


*All our fitness classes are designed for all fitness levels and abilities. Please let the instructor know beforehand of any injuries or contraindications you have. One class per day per person.
