General Information
The hotel has 2 car parks allowing parking for all hotel guests, on the very rare occasion you cannot find a parking space please see the porters who will arrange one for you. Disabled parking spaces can be requested in the top car park close to the main entrance. Please note we have installed Smart Parking so you will need to enter your car registration in the tablet provided in Guest Relations to avoid receiving a fine.
We have installed 2 EV Smappe chargers on site. Smappee makes it easy for guests to use renewable energy more efficiently via one interconnected app, allowing you to track both your charging and costs in real-time within the app.
Our electric charging points are operated on a first come first serve basis. We kindly request that once your vehicle is charged you vacate the space for other guests to use.
Use of our Thermal Suite can be booked 24hrs in advance. Guests can book one 45 minute session per day.
We also take bookings for our tennis court, this is booked as a 1 hour slot per party per day.
Fitness Classes will also need to be pre-booked.
Breakfast is served between 7.30am and 10.30am
Dinner is served from 5:30pm - 9pm
Dressing for dinner is all part of the Saunton Sands experience, but we don't expect you to go to extremes. From 6.30pm smart/casual dress is requested for dinner.
We offer several different dining options, children's tea is served between 12pm -9pm when a full children’s menu is available.
The hotel is located at the top of the cliff and there is a zig zag path running from the terrace, this is quite steep in places but is a good level path without steps.
Pets are not allowed in the hotel but our self-catering Saunton apartments are now dog friendly. Find out more.
Towels are available by both the indoor and outdoor pools, we do request that swimming pool towels and bedroom towels are not taken to the beach. Laundry facilities are available at the hotel for your towels if needed.
In order to comply with our insurance policy, we are required to advise our guests of the following rules.
- Lone Swimmers – Please advise reception if you are going to be swimming alone and approximately how long you will be.
- Children under 8 years - Must be accompanied in the water by an adult.
- Children between 8 and 16 years – Must be supervised by an adult either on the poolside or in the water
- Other rules apply when using either of the swimming pools. For your safety, please read the literature provided at the hotel and observe the signs around the pool areas.
All room rates quoted are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
Apartments
The self-catering apartments we offer are well equipped and come complete with towels, tea towels, washing up equipment, toilet rolls and a good range of kitchen utensils. If you reserve an apartment with a dishwasher, tablets will be supplied for you.
You are more than welcome to arrive prior to check in time to relax and enjoy our facilities.
Check in for rooms is from 3pm.
Check in for apartments is from 4pm.
While staying in the apartment's guests are welcome to use all the hotel facilities, dine in the hotel restaurants and join in with the entertainment. Booking is essential.
We have a guest laundry facility available in the hotel.
Please see Guest Relations to reserve a table for breakfast, if we have no availability in the restaurant, we will arrange a table in the terrace lounge for you.
Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Asda all deliver to the hotel.

All cancellations will result in loss of non-refundable deposit.
Once you have confirmed a reservation with us, should you wish to cancel, the following charges will apply:
Cancellations made within 28 days of arrival full charges will apply
Cleaning Charges: Guests are expected to leave the apartment in the same condition as found upon arrival. Failure to do so will result in a cleaning charge being applied to your final bill.
Additional Services: Daily bin and towel service is included within your stay however a full service is available at an additional cost of £20 per day. Please notify Guest Relations 24-hours in advance if you wish to have this service.
Pet Policy: Dogs are allowed in specified apartments with prior approval. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their dog(s) to the apartment or hotel grounds. Any additional cleaning or repair costs will be added to your final bill.
Source Spa
The spa is open from 7am until 9.30pm
Treatment - 10am - 8pm
Swimming Pool - Please view our swimming times guide for up-to-date information on pool opening times, children's swimming hours and adult only pool hours.
Playroom - The playroom is open from 10am until 5pm. It is closed for lunch between 12-12.30pm.

Yes - members will be issued a link to book classes online. Please use our online booking system to book treatments.
Hotel guests can book a class with a member of the team in Guest Relations, or treatments can be booked online or at spa reception (subject to availability).

The Source Spa Collection (developed by The Natural Spa Factory) and iS Clinical state that they are NOT tested on animals.
iS Clinical also state that their products are vegan except for ethically sourced honey in some products.

Full payment is required upon booking your spa day. Should you need to cancel your spa day, you may get a full refund with 24 hours' notice. For COVID-19 related cancellations due to government restrictions, a full refund or a transfer to alternative dates will be offered.
