General Information

At the time of booking the best rate available will be offered to you, should we have availability and release a last minute offer this is applicable to new bookings only.

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. View our booking terms for more information. 

Please notify reservations if you would like to dine out on one of your evenings and the rate will be amended for you, should you arrive at the hotel and decide to dine out, unfortunately, no reduction will be made.

Pets are not allowed in the hotel but our self-catering Saunton apartments are now dog friendly. Find out more. 

We offer several different dining options, children's tea is served between 12pm -9pm when a full children’s menu is available.

Towels are available by both the indoor and outdoor pools, we do request that pool towels and bedroom towels are not taken to the beach. Laundry facilities are available at the hotel for your towels if needed.

The hotel is located at the top of the cliff and there is a zig zag path running from the terrace, this is quite steep in places but is a good level path without steps.

The hotel has 2 car parks allowing parking for all hotel guests, on the very rare occasion you cannot find a parking space please see the porters who will arrange one for you. Disabled parking spaces can be requested in the top car park close to the main entrance. Please note we have installed Smart Parking so you will need to enter your car registration in the tablet provided in Guest Relations to avoid receiving a fine. 

Breakfast is served between 7.30am and 10.30am
Dinner is served from 5:30pm - 9pm

We request that smart dress is worn in the restaurant after 6.30pm with no ripped jeans, collarless shirts or trainers.

When the playroom is supervised unfortunately, we cannot allow adults to stay with their children however outside of the supervised play sessions you are welcome to ask Guest Relations for the key and go in to play.

We have installed 2 EV Smappe chargers on site. Smappee makes it easy for guests to use renewable energy more efficiently via one interconnected app, allowing you to track both your charging and costs in real-time within the app.

Our electric charging points are operated on a first come first serve basis. We kindly request that once your vehicle is charged you vacate the space for other guests to use. 

Use of our Thermal Suite can be booked 24hrs in advance. Guests can book one 45 minute session per day. 

We also take bookings for our tennis court, this is booked as a 1 hour slot per party per day. 

Fitness Classes will also need to be pre-booked.

The remaining balance for accommodation is due on arrival. 

We don't offer a day pass but non-residents who join us for a spa day can use the facilities. 

No, only guests staying at the hotel, spa members and non-residents joining us for spa days can use the facilities. 


The self-catering apartments we offer are well equipped and come complete with towels, tea towels, washing up equipment, toilet rolls and a good range of kitchen utensils. If you reserve an apartment with a dishwasher, tablets will be supplied for you.

Please see Guest Relations to reserve a table for breakfast, if we have no availability in the restaurant, we will arrange a table in the terrace lounge for you.

Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Asda all deliver to the hotel.

While staying in the apartment's guests are welcome to use all the hotel facilities, dine in the hotel restaurants and join in with the entertainment. Booking is essential. 

We have a guest laundry facility available in the hotel.

You are more than welcome to arrive prior to check in time to relax and enjoy our facilities. 

Check in for rooms is from 3pm.

Check in for apartments is from 4pm.

The playroom is available to hotel residents and members. Members have the opportunity to put their children in our hotel playroom for 2 hours per day at £5 per hour. Hotel residents are entitled to 2 hours of free childcare per day. Both are subject to availability and booking essential.

Guests should consult with their GPs before attending the spa to avoid disappointment, if any doubt is present it should always be the guest’s decision as in a court of law we are not medically qualified.

The Source Spa Collection (developed by The Natural Spa Factory) and iS Clinical state that they are NOT tested on animals.
iS Clinical also state that their products are vegan except for ethically sourced honey in some products.

Yes, with 2 months notice (after the initial 12 months period). 

You may freeze your membership for between one calendar month and 12 calendar months for the following reasons: pregnancy, serious injury, redundancy and when Government restrictions are in place that prohibits the use of spa facilities.

Prospective members can book in for a free tour with our membership manager to view the facilities available before purchasing. 

Yes, we maintain a capped number of memberships. Our research suggests that at any one time no more than 20% of members will use the facility

No, we don't offer family or joint memberships

Members that joined before 19th July 2001 are permitted to bring one child of preschool age per member to use indoor and outdoor pools during family swim times. Members joined after this date will not be permitted to bring children to use the pools.

Replacements are issued free of charge

We offer a monthly Direct Debit or year up front as payment options. The joining fee of £150 for Full Membership or £50 for Twilight Membership is waived when membership is paid upfront in full.

4 guest passes per year - Additional guest passes may be purchased from Spa Reception for £45 per day 

No, the member would get the discount off of their bill

Yes, 5% on food and beverages and 10% on accommodation. However, we are unable to process your 5% discount if you use the Brend Ordering App.

Food is served 7.30am-9pm, serving times for breakfast, lunch and dinner may vary. For more information, please view our dining pages.

Yes, with your membership or room card



Multiple classes daily, the amount will vary season to season, please view our current fitness timetable. The membership manager will keep you up to date with times, availability and classes. Classes will be exclusive to full and twilight members and hotel residents.

Classes are included in your membership or if you are a hotel resident, subject to availability - booking essential.

Yes, members have an online booking system and residents can book with guest relations.

It will depend on whether the class is held outside on the lawn, the gym or our Source Studio and dependant on the type of class. The maximum number of members in a class in our Source Studio is 15.

Full payment is required upon booking your spa day. Should you need to cancel your spa day, you may get a full refund with 24 hours' notice. For COVID-19 related cancellations due to government restrictions, a full refund or a transfer to alternative dates will be offered.
