Beach-View Marine Vitality Pool
Source Spa and Wellness opening September 2018
“The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea” - Isak Dinesen
In a prime position, looking out over the stunning stretch of golden sands and rolling waves of Saunton Sands and beyond, our Marine Vitality Pool will be filled with mineral-rich dead sea salt water. Thalassotherapy, meaning treatment from the sea, uses the healing and beneficial properties of the sea and the marine environment for your health and wellbeing.
Heated to approximately 38°C with jets to pummel and massage you (if you wish), it provides a mini-hydrotherapy experience, seating up to twelve people.
The combination of warm water, sea salts and jets means vitality pools are known to provide unique benefits*, including:
- Beautiful skin
- Skin disorder relief
- Natural stress
- Muscular relief
- Boosting immunity
Drawing inspiration from our natural environment, the mineral-ich dead sea salt water offers a more holistic approach to the spa experience, complimenting our Salt Inhalation Steam Room and other facilities.
- Incorporate a plunge into our vitality pool at the end of your thermal journey after a cold shower for pure relaxation.
- Be sure to shower with warm water after using the vitality pool before using the ice fountain or contrast showers. Cold exposure causes the skin’s pores to close and could potentially trap pool chemicals in.
