Who is the UniSurfity Experience for?
The UniSurfity Experience is aimed at intermediate, advanced and elite/professional surfers with personal expert coaching from pro surf coach, Jez Browning to take your surfing to the next level.
Meet the Coach
UniSURFity is owned and operated by Jez Browning, a highly qualified coach and surfer. As of today, he has coached over 17,800 surfers. Born and raised in Guernsey in the English Channel Islands, Jez has surfed since he was five (40+ years of surf experience). Coaching surfers of all abilities, from beginners to WQS and WCT professionals, Jez has coached national teams for the World Surfing Games as well as individual competing surfers.
Having worked exceptionally hard to obtain the maximum level in each available governing surfing body to date. Qualifications include ASI Level 4 Master Coach, ISA level 2 Coach, ISA level 1 Surf Instructor, WSA Member and RLSS and NARS Beach Lifeguarding. Jez is also a surf photographer and journalist who writes monthly advice columns for magicseaweed.com, Inertia and Wavelength magazine.
The Surfing

The UniSurfity VIP Experience is designed to help you out of your surfing rut - to re-inspire you and help achieve your surfing goals. You’ll get customised coaching for your particular needs, whether it's simple face turns or creating a whole heat-winning repertoire for surfing titles, UniSurfity have the knowledge and the tools, combined with our idyllic spot on the North Devon coast to get you to achieve your surfing goals.
The Waves
North Devon is the home to one of the world’s twelve World Surfing Reserves alongside iconic surfing locations Malibu and Santa Cruz (California), Gold Coast, Noosa and Manly Beach (Australia), Bahia de Todos Santos (Mexico), Ericeira (Portugal), Punta de Lobos (Chile), Guard do Embaú (Brazil), Huanchaco (Peru) and Playa Hermosa (Costa Rica).
This place is exceptional. The North Devon World Surfing Reserve covers a world-class surf zone stretching across approximately 30 km of coastline. Its high density of outstanding surf, at iconic breaks such as Saunton on our doorstep and Croyde and Woolacombe just around the headland, and even a little further down the coast to Lynmouth, caters to wave-riders of all tastes and styles.
