Autumn afternoon tea and cocktails

Cocktails with your afternoon tea this autumn? Of course! It’s the very definition of taking something wonderful – and then making it even better.

We’d recommend pairing delicate scones and finger sandwiches with an ‘English Tea Fizz’ crafted from yellow chartreuse, Picon, Roku Gin and topped with prosecco.

However, if that’s not your perfect pick, we’ve a whole range of creatively craftedand seductive sips on our new autumn cocktail list.

While the new creations have been inspired by the quintessentially English tradition of afternoon tea, you’re welcome to have them alongside tea – or not.

Wherever and whenever you choose to imbibe these delicate concoctions, you can be assured they’ve been made with care and attention by our talented team of bartenders who use only the best – and, wherever possible, local – spirits and fresh ingredients.

For who could resist a classic autumn bramble when it’s been created using Wrecking Coast Clotted Cream Gin from the north coast of Cornwall, alongside raspberry syrup, vanilla and lemon juice to balance the sweetness? Or a spiced apple ice tea made with Braunton-based Pull The Pin rum?

The list is not just for the over-18’s or those with a taste for the strong stuff either; we’ve also created two elegant non-alcoholic cocktails for the autumncollection. If that’s whetted your appetite for a visit, take a moment to read on and discover what else awaits you on our cocktail list this season …
