- Rooms are available from 3pm on the day of arrival, guests are welcome to arrive at the hotel beforehand. Check in and feel free to use the facilities.
- Rooms must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure, guests are mosst welcome to use the hotel's facilities after departure.
- Accounts are to be settled in full on departure. All major credit and debit cards are accepted. Should any additional changes arise after settling your bill, such as mini bar charges, the account will be sent to your address.
- Late night access - the guest relations desk is covered 24hr a day, should nobody be present, please use the phone provided and dial '0'
- Should you wish to leave before your due departure date for any reason, full accomodation charges will apply.
- The hotel has a large car park for which there is no charge for hotel guests. You are welcome to pull up at the front door to unload, we then respectfuly request that you find a parking space in the main car park.
- Disabled parking spaces can be requested for disabled badge holders in the top car park close to the main entrance.
- On the very rare occasion you cannot find a parking space please see the porters who will arrange one for you.
- Electric vehicles - We have installed 2 EV Smappe chargers on site. Smappee makes it easy for guests to use renewable energy more efficiently via one interconnected app, allowing you to track both your charging and costs in real-time within the app.
- Our electric charging points are operated on a first come first serve basis. We kindly request that once your vehicle is charged you vacate the space for other guests to use.
- IMPORTANT: To ensure sufficient parking we have installed Smart Parking, you will need to enter your car registration in the tablet provided in Guest Relations to prevent and charges or fines being incurred.
- Room servicing - Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a set time each day, but your room will be serviced between 9am - 3pm.
- Linen - If you require extra linen, please contact our guest relations team on 0
- A laundry service is available, this service enables you to have 10 items washed, dried and ironed at a cost of £30. Items collected before 1pm will be returned by 11am the next day.
- There is a guest laundry facility located on the lower ground floor which includes Iron, Ironing board and drying room.
- Washing machines and Tumble Dryers are token operated, these can be purchased by guest relations at a cost of £2.50 each
- Our Source spa range of complimentary toiletries will be refreshed on your arrival, these products are for your enjoyment whilst staying at the hotel and should not be removed by the rooms. Should you wish to purchase, these products are available from reception at a cost of £12.50 per item.
- Other essential toiletries such as toothbrushes and toothpaste can be aquired from Guest relations or the hotel shop.
- Complimentary teas and coffees are supplied in rooms on arrival and refreshed each day
- Our Source spa range of complimentary toiletries will be refreshed on your arrival, these products are for your enjoyment whilst staying at the hotel and should not be removed from the rooms. Should you wish to purchase these products, they are available from reception at a cost of £12.50 per item.
- Each bedroom is equipped with a television with a range of digital television channels. Please see the TV guide on your television.
- Newspapers can be delivered to the room each morning by arrangement with guest relations. Newspapers will be charged to your room bill.
- Towels - in the interest of the environment and economy, we would like your help. If you are happy to use your towels again, please place them on the towel rail. If you wish to have them replaced, please put them in the bath or shower.
- Please do not take towels to the beach.
- Towels are provided in the swimming pool areas, please leave used pool towels in the containers provided.

- Use of our Thermal Suite can be booked 24hrs in advance. Guests can book one 45 minute session per day.
- We also take bookings for our tennis court, this is booked as a 1 hour slot per party per day.

Dinner is served from 5:30pm - 9pm
Dressing for dinner is all part of the Saunton Sands experience, but we don't expect you to go to extremes. From 6.30pm smart/casual dress is requested for dinner.
We offer several different dining options, children's tea is served between 12pm -9pm when a full children’s menu is available.
The hotel is located at the top of the cliff and there is a zig zag path running from the terrace, this is quite steep in places but is a good level path without steps.
Pets are not allowed in the hotel but our self-catering Saunton apartments are now dog-friendly. Find out more.
Towels are available by both the indoor and outdoor pools, we do request that swimming pool towels and bedroom towels are not taken to the beach. Laundry facilities are available at the hotel for your towels if needed.
In order to comply with our insurance policy, we are required to advise our guests of the following rules.
- Please note swimming pools are supervised by a lifeguard - use of the pool is at your own risk
- Lone Swimmers – Please advise reception if you are going to be swimming alone and approximately how long you will be.
- Children under 8 years - Must be accompanied in the water by an adult.
- Infants are required to wear swimwear or swim nappies, strictly no bare bottoms.
- Children between 8 and 16 years – Must be supervised by an adult either on the poolside or in the water
- No inflatables or balls
- No diving or running
- All clothing to be left in the changing areas
- For your safety, please read the literature provided at the hotel and observe the signs around the pool areas.
All room rates quoted are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
- Found items will be logged and stored at Guest Relations.
- Should you discover that you are missing something on your return home, we can send items to you. We would just ask that guests cover the cost of the postage.
- Lost property will be kept for a maximum of six weeks by law. After this time, unclaimed property will be disposed of.
